I've opened the door to a world of big, slightly cheeky, gossipy girls, the kind who love their bingo, a good laugh and a cup of tea with cake, some of them have even managed to drag along their long suffering husbands!
Working in acrylic on canvas, adding an extra bit of detail and a whole lot of enthusiasm and fun, the new series will be launched at exhibition in September.

Based in the North East of England Michelle Milburn paints nostalgic terraced streets of a bygone era in soft pastel or acrylic.

Michelle Milburn works from her remote studio in the heart of the Northumbrian countryside exploring the world around her, past and present, using many sources and situations as inspiration for her work. Her paintings have captured the hearts and minds of many collectors and are shown regularly at Art Fairs the length of the UK.
